Seabourn was seeking a new way to connect with affluent consumers, and increase bookings.
Most are hesitant to book a trip (especially at this high price point) without first-hand knowledge of the onboard experience, and the places they’ll visit.
A mini-series was proposed, following three couples as they explore the exclusive ports-of-call only Seabourn has access to, as well as tours of their unique, luxury vessels.
Seabourn loved the idea.
During the pitch, Seabourn was acquired by Holland America, and the idea was shelved. Non-the-less, I'd certainy love to see this idea through.
