's Lee Pace teases a "cool" dimension in season 4.

Apple TV's science-fiction epic is adapted from Isaac Asimov's novel series of the same name, and was developed by David S. Goyer and War of the Worlds scribe Josh Friedman. The is headed up by a slate of strong character actors, including Pace, Jared Harris, Lou Llobell, and Cherry Jones. In an interview with ScreenRant's Grant Hermann for Invincible season 4, Pace teased the series after the explosive season 3 finale. Without giving away any details, he revealed that the upcoming season, which is currently filming in Prague, is bringing a new dimension to the show, and teased that "the story gets bigger." Check out his comments below:

We're in Prague right now. I'm in Prague right now in the middle of shooting season 4, so we are hard at work on it. I think it's really cool this season. The show, it gets more bonkers every season. The story gets bigger. Now, we've added a whole other dimension to the story that I think, if you've been with Foundation for the first three seasons, this is going to open up a whole new dimension for the show. So I'm very excited for people to see it. I'm having a great time shooting it for sure.

How many seasons Goyer and Friedman have planned for the show could be instrumental in shaping the direction they choose for . The original book series consists of seven novels, so there are a plethora of ways to launch a new dimension, especially given how things ended in season 3.

revealed the true identity of the Mule, as well as the shocking deaths of both Demerzel and Pace's Brother Day at the hands of Dusk. However, the fact that Pace is returning for season 4 suggests that Day will return in some capacity. It could be that Brother Dawn grows into a new version of Brother Day and winds up being the last remaining clone.

Foundation is one of the slickest and cleverest sci-fi shows currently in production, with its rich world-building and an epic, sprawling collection of flawed and interesting characters. The ambitious show has always tried to push boundaries, and Pace's comments suggest an exciting direction for the series heading into season 4 and beyond.
