After years of anticipation, today is finally the day when will unveil . As the long-awaited remake to 2013's Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag, today will welcome an online showcase dedicated to all things Resynced, but ahead of that, one reliable leaker has shared some information about what we can expect, including the all-important price tag.

First released well over a decade ago, Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag is widely regarded as one of the best Assassin's Creed games of all time, which is no easy feat considering there are 14 main installments in the series at the time of writing. Praised for its open-world and setting which takes place during the Golden Age of Piracy, the story follows Welsh pirate Edward Kenway as he goes up against the pesky Templars, all whilst trying to secure his legacy.

We already know that Twitch users can expect to get their hands for the upcoming launch of Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag Resynced and that Matt Ryan in the iconic lead role, but we do not yet know how much cash we will be splashing to get our hands on a copy. Well, until now.

Courtesy of reliable leaker , we now know that the Collectors Edition for Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag Resynced will be priced at $199.99 / €199.99 / £174.99. Luckily, the standard edition comes in at a much more respectable $59.99 / €59.99 / £49.99 which seems fair for a full remake of a game as popular as this. The Collectors Edition will feature a statue of Edward Kenway himself lounging on a homemade throne, alongside a faux-leather folio including notes, maps, and more. There is also a piece of sheet music, a steelbook, a skull badge, and cosmetic in-game DLC.

Whilst the showcase is scheduled to take place on 23 April at 4PM UTC/6PM CEST/9AM PDT, Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag Resynced is set to launch on 9 July 2026, and will arrive on Ubisoft+ Premium on day one. According to Tom Henderson, the presentation is set to last for 30 minutes, and will show us all the ways that the remake has improved on the original. It has proved so much that it reportedly plays a lot more like more recent Assassin's Creed entries such as Assassin's Creed Valhalla.

Now, regarding the potential price point for Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag Resynced, potential fans have taken to to share their thoughts. "This is the only time I've seen near unanimous hype for an Ubisoft project, and it makes me happy," one user shared.
