Hal Jordan and John Stewart are taking a break from their murder investigation in ScreenRant's exclusive new image from HBO's upcoming series.

While parts of Lanterns will be set in Iowa, much of the investigation takes place in Sheridan County, Nebraska, which some of the locals aren't too happy about.

Based on their interactions, it's obvious that Hal isn't going to take it easy on the young recruit. Nearing retirement, Hal is known as a legend, and he certainly knows what it means to wear the Lantern ring, something that John still needs to learn.
